How It Works
When you contact us, we will need to know your project idea and plan, including your brand vision, expectations, budget, etc. Next is the concept phase, this is where we take your ideas and create a formula. We then take the blueprints of your formula to our research and development team, which confirms that it is achievable on the chemistry level. Once everything checks out, your project will begin its formation and move to the research and development phase.

Research & Development
We specialize in custom formulations but have the ability to reverse engineer existing formulas.
We focus on improving and creating formulas that are innovative and future-proof. Formulas that actually improve the quality of life for your customers.
If the first sample is not close to what you want, do not panic. Our team will schedule a prompt call with you to discuss where the miscommunication lies. Remember you are not charged per revision. Our chemists are very good and can quickly formulate a winning formula. The more detailed direction our team receives from you, the less likely for formula missteps.
R&D stands for research and development. RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT. Some projects are tricky and will require a little more finesse by our cosmetic chemist team. Nothing is guaranteed. However, our team is good and 99% of the time can create the formula agreed upon by you and Ammes.
Some processes will be different than stated above depending on many different factors.
You will be charged an additional R&D fee if your project scope changes. For example, if your project started out as a shampoo but now you want a moisturizer.
Design
Ammes has services you can add-on to help design the look of your brand before it gets to manufacturing. Part of creating a unique product is having its look reflect your ideal image. The graphic design team we have onsite helps design brands every day and thrives off of your ideas and feedback.
Branding is an important part of every company’s identity, especially private label cosmetics. Not all contract manufacturers assist with branding for clients, but Ammes’s designers have years of experience helping our clients create and refine their brand. We use our expertise to help you succeed.
Designing the icon for your company’s identification and early life is essential to a business. Partnering with our design team can help get your abstract ideas conveyed into beautiful shapes and colors.
Package Design
Your packaging can be anything from a label on a bottle to a foil-stamped box, and either way it’ll be what you want to present to your customers. However, our team’s knowledge and experience can help you know what you can and can’t say, hierarchy, font combining, and printing specifications.
